Sally Lamb passed away at her home in Mountain View on Jan. 19, at the age of 84.

Sally was born June 21, 1934, in Evanston, the daughter of Dale Lawson Rickert and Vera Jane Briggs. She grew up loving to fish, hunt, ski — anything outdoors with her parents, sister and brothers.

At the age of 16, Sally met the love of her life, Del Lamb. They married three years later on Nov. 10, 1953, when Del was home on leave from the U.S. Navy. After Del returned from overseas and honorably discharged from the Navy in 1954, they started their life together in Evanston and later moved to Bridger Valley where they raised their family of one son and three daughters and helped with grandchildren.

Sally and Del loved to camp, fish, hunt, ride out on old two-track trails, rock hunt — anything outdoors.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Del; her parents; step-father, Gene Snow; brother, Gary Rickert; sister, Elaine Bindl and great-grandson, William Ross Robertson.

She is survived by her son, Marty (Sally) Lamb; daughters, Tracy Lamb Fowler, Chris Lamb and Kelly Stewart; brother, Phil (Pam) Snow; grandson, Ken Homan; granddaughters, Randi (Zack) Sulzback, Becky (Justin) Robertson and Sara Stewart; sister-in-law Carolyn Rickert; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Sally loved to have them all at her house for holidays and birthdays and loved them all very much.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, at Fort Bridger Cemetery.
