MOUNTAIN VIEW —Solvay Chemicals and several other industry partners recently made a large donation to the Mountain View High School Vo-Ag department.
Several of Solvay’s industry partners made donations to support students in meeting industry work and safety standards. The equipment will be used to support MVHS students in their career technical education programs of study.
The donated items included metal grinders, grinding wheels, grinding discs, welding rod and wire, welding gloves, safety glasses, soapstone, specialty welding rod, large boxes of welding rod and a special donation of magnetic ground clamps and an oxy cutting system.
