The MVHS band participated at the UW Band day at War Memorial last Saturday during the Pokes football game with Wofford. “If you've never been in band you probably don't know how much hard work and dedication it takes to do it well. This weekend they rehearsed and performed in the hot sun and carried heavy equipment long distances and never complained,” said their teacher Melissa Tanner Clark. Students involved were: Delaina Becenti, Tanner Erickson, Brynlee Farnsworth, Donovan Gregory, Alek Owens, Dennis Owens, James Owens, Kyia Rice, Caitlin Stephens, Alex Thomas, Cameron Walker and Jaylynn Watson.
