BRIDGER VALLEY — Connor Micheli, Brooke Bindle and Caden Sweep, from Mountain View FCCLA, and Rhyan Thomas and Marci Moretti, Lyman FCCLA,

were one of 10 teams selected to participate in a Seat Belt Awareness Campaign “iBuckle Up, weBuckle Up.”

The five Valley students traveled expense free to Washington D.C. for this FCCLA campaign.

The goal of the grant is to inform youth, specifically rural middle school youth (and their parents) about seat belt safety and to create a positive community effort to encourage seat belt use.

The students also met with Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi when they were in Washington.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is committed to providing more education so seat belts can save more lives, according to the press release.
