GREEN RIVER — Valley high school and middle school cross country runners competed at the Green River Invitational last Friday, and LHS runners aced out and brought home four first place finishes.
The meet, first meet of the season, came on the heels of several practice meets which the teams used to sharpen their skills.
Lyman won both teams titles at Friday's Green River XC Invitational. They also swept the individual honors with Elena Jensen and Jesse Fanos winning the girls' and boys' 5K races, respectively.
The four who claimed first place included middle school: Mason Staheli, boys; Karly Sabey, girls; and high school: Jesse Fanos, boys; Elena Jensen, girls.
Lyman will hit the trail in their next cross country meet in Star Valley next weekend.
