Valley Labor Day crash claimed life

Posted

EVANSTON — A two-vehicle head-on crash claimed one life Monday night near Guadalajara on Highway 414 south of the Urie Intersection.

Two Ford trucks were involved in the accident, according to Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper David Homer mid-day Tuesday, which happened about 8:30 p.m.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.

WY414 was closed for approximately two hours as crews worked on the scene.

Local law enforcement agencies and the Wyoming Highway Patrol worked the scene. Air Med from Rock Springs also responded to assist.

Homer indicated it looked like one of the vehicles was going to pull off on to Meadow Street, but the exact cause still had not been determined. Homer also said a “possible medical condition” could be involved as contributing to the accident.
