BRIDGER VALLEY — The Mountain View High School played host to a joint event last Saturday when people turned out in good numbers to attend the Health Fair, Business Expo and the BVEA annual meeting.
Medical and other booths stretched through the halls of the high school, enticing participants to stop, look and learn about health issues, safety and more.
Delicious odors drifted from the commons area near the doors of the high school gym from the breakfast hosted by the Bridger Valley Electric Association. MVHS Jim Bridger Chapter FFA members, dressed in their dark blue corduroy jackets with the FFA emblem, dished up the sausages and pancakes.
BVEA held its annual membership meeting in the high school auditorium with a keynote speech from Senator John Barrasso. Barrasso had mingled with the people prior to the meeting. Following his appearance on the meeting he was headed to Casper, and awards ceremony and church before heading back to Washington D.C. Barrasso and Senator Enzi return to Wyoming each weekend to be with their constituents.
When Barrasso addressed the crowd at the BVEA meeting, he said he is asked how is it in Washington. His answer, as always, was, “It’s always better in Wyoming…always.”
Barrasso addressed the change in Washington with the election of Trump as president and noted the changes look like they are going to be good for Wyoming
