MOUNTAIN VIEW —Virginia “Ginger” Lucille Norton died at her home in Mountain View on Friday, May 12.

She was born on Nov. 14, 1926, in Lebanon, Neb., to William and Maud Raburn.

Ginger spent many years as a 21 black jack dealer in Ely, Nev., and Jackpot, Nev., before moving to Mountain View. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling and spent many years keeping bowling scores for league play in Bridger Valley. She enjoyed sewing, camping, fishing and selling Jafra Cosmetics.

Ginger is survived by her children: Gary Carraway, Boise, Idaho; Robert Carraway, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Judy Carraway, Tyler, Texas; Mike Carraway, Spring Valley, Nev.; her sister, Anita McFarland, Salmon, Idaho; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Norton; parents, William and Maud Raburn; brothers: Jack Raburn, Gene Raburn and Oran (Short) Raburn; and her sister, Bessie Bryan.

A celebration of life will take place at her home, 618 Evergreen, in Mountain View Saturday, May 27, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
