EVANSTON — William John (Bill) Galahan, Jr., 56, died Wednesday, July 17, in Evanston.
Bill was born in Helena, Mont. He grew up in Butte, Mont.
He has four sons: William John III, Jon, Sean Michael and Taylor LaMont of Mount View.
He is survived by his four sons, mother, Mary Aileen Eamon Ast of Missoula, Mont.; step mother, Debbie Galahan of Deer Lodge, Mont.; ex-mother-in-law, Bettie Tripp, Mountain View; brothers: Walter (Tina) and Sean; sisters: LaTresa (Todd) Garrison and Stephanie (Matt) all of Montana; four grandchildren, Louisana.
He was preceded in death by his father, William John Sr. and a brother, Jack.
A memorial service is planned at a later date to allow out-of-town family and friends to make travel arrangements.
Bill loved the out-of-doors and as per his wishes, his ashes will be spread in the area where the family cabin is in Garnet, Mont., a place Bill loved spending time.
