One of the pictures posted by UC Fire and Ambulance crews as to one of the accidents on I-80 Tuesday night as the storm swirled through the area. In addition, about 5:30 p.m. on Highway 414 just coming out of Mountain View, Fire and law enforcement officials responded to an accident. Reports received by the Pioneer were it was a rollover and a vehicle was in the barrow pit. No other information was received on this incident prior to the Pioneer’s press time. COURTESY PHOTO/UCFA
Much of I-80 was closed Wednesday morning including from Evanston and Granger and between Rawlins and Laramie. The closure was extended across the state by Wednesday afternoon. Uinta Crews were out throughout Tuesday night dealing with the icy conditions.
