Ina Lamb

Posted

Beloved daughter, wife mother and grandmother, Ina Lamb passed away in Evanston on Monday, Jan. 4. She was born on Jan. 21, 1932, to Lawrence and Alice Hysell.

On May 17, 1952, she married the love of her life, Mickey Lamb. They had four handsome sons.  Sadly, her firstborn son, Mickey Lee, passed away at nine months old from meningitis. Ina never stopped grieving for him.

She was a wonderful wife, always by Mickey’s side, as they rock hunted and fished, played in pool tournaments and danced together. They made sweet memories together. It should also be said what a loving mother-in-law she was and an awesome grandma. She truly loved her family.

Her sons and their wives are as follows: Mickey Lee Lamb; Kevin Con (Julie) Lamb; Teddy Joe Lamb; and Walter Kent (Kerri) Lamb.

She had 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lila Taylor and Marlene Sheets; as well as four brothers, Leland Hysell, Dale Hysell, Merlin Hysell and Ken Hysell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family gives specials thanks to her beloved niece, Millie, and grandson, Danny, whom she adored and had a special bond with.

Ina had many interests and was a wonderful homemaker. She loved to cook, crochet, dance, can her own food, sew her own clothing, and she was a beautiful pianist and accordion player, even though she couldn’t read a musical note!

Ina will be very missed by all those who knew and loved her. We know we will see her again when our great and loving God makes all things new (Revelation 21:3-5, Matthew 19:28 and Acts 24:15).

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the Mountain View LDS Ward Chapel. Viewing will be on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston.

Interment will follow in the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
