LYMAN — What a great start to the season so far for the Lady Eagle swimmers as they won their home invitational over four other teams with a team score of 403.
The other school placed at the Lyman Invite last Saturday with Sublette County taking second with 397, followed by Kemmerer, Evanston, and Rawlins.
Two Lady Eagles wrote a new page in their high school legacy...Brynlee Busskohl broke her state record in the 100 breast stroke on Saturday. Loren Huntsman announced at the meet “Brynlee Busskohl broke her state record, conference record and school record with a winning time of 1:07:32.” Busskohl set previous record at the last year’s state meet.
The next record broken was a 9-year-old school record, which was broken by Kira Walk with a winning time of 5:50:51 in the 500 freestyle, previously set by Korrine Sorensen in 2010.
