VERNAL, Utah — Lyman Lady Eagles went to Vernal last week, Friday and Saturday for the 3rd annual Girls Tournament of Champions.
Lyman ended up 12th against 18 school from Utah, Colorado and Wyoming.
Lyman had eight girls wrestling and ended up with three placers.
Eliza Glegg took the TOC champion in the 125-pound bracket. She pinned all her opponents and ended on top of the podium in an event of 13 competitors.
Rhaychel Cole placed sixth place out of 18 girls in the 120 pounds. Cole pinned two girls in one round.
Karly Sabey took third place out of 11 tough girls in the 130-pound bracket. Sabey pinned three girls and earned a 6:1 decision win in the 3rd/4th place match.
