LYMAN — The LHS boys swim team hit the water in two meets last week – Big Piney and Kemmerer – and will host their last home meet today as the team’s three seniors will swim for their last time in front of their home-town crowd.
The three swimmers – Cooper Haycock, Stone Olguin and Wynn Officer – have all had an excellent time in the water representing their school over their high school careers. All three are pre-qualified for the state meet so their final competitive swim for Lyman will be at the state meet February in Laramie.
The LHS team competed at Big Piney on Friday and Kemmerer on Saturday. The other teams competing at Kemmerer included the host school, Evanston and Sublette County.
Sublette County took first with 307 points and also have diving included in their range of competition. Lyman took second with 276 points, Kemmerer third with 247 and Evanston on the bottom with 200 points.
