LHS varsity basketball teams again split wins – 2 Ws and 2 Ls

Posted

LYMAN — The Lady Eagles continued to soar last weekend, while the Eagles struggled on the hardwood as the teams hosted Riverton and Lander.

The teams battled the Riverton Wolverines last Friday in the Eagle lair and then challenged the Lander Tigers Saturday.

The Lady Eagles notched two wins, and the Eagles suffered a double loss.

This week the LHS teams face non-conference games against the Rich County Utah Rebels in Randolph, Rebel country. The Eagles faced the Rebels yesterday evening after press time so results weren’t available. The Rebels entered the game with and overall record of 8-4. The Rebels should be a challenge for the Eagles as the Rebels had set their eyes on a state title at the start of the season.

The Lady Eagles will take on the Lady Rebels tomorrow evening. Even though the Lady Rebels will have the home court advantage, they will have to play tough to outshoot and out-score the Lady Eagles.
