LYMAN — LHS golf team hit the golf course this week as they set their 2021 season in motion.

Last year Stockton Walker was a leader on the team, but his graduation leaves the spot a little shy. According to head coach Don Toomer this week, this year’s team is very young and Toomer is looking for leadership from returning players – Cope Thomas, Eben Moen, Gavin Sill, Hannah Jackson and McKayla Berg.

“I’m looking forward to working with new players as they learn the fun sport of golf,” Toomer said.

According t the district’s calendar, the golf team is slated to go to Star Valley next week. The 3A state tournament will be held in Lander on Sept. 17-18.
