MOUNTAIN VIEW — The MVHS track athletes keep making trips to the podium, clipping their times and adding more height and distance to their soars in the air.
This MVHS hosted the Jeff Memorial track meet Tuesday, which turned out to be a cool day for those in uniform. Schools competing at the meet included host school Mountain View plus Lyman, Rock Springs, Green River, Pinedale, Big Piney and Farson-Eden. Results weren’t available Wednesday morning. Mountain View was also slated to hit the ground in Provo at the BYU Invitational, which plays host today and tomorrow to a multitude of schools in a multi-state area, as 44 teams were registered for the meet.
The MVHS teams are winding down their regular season and will focus on the 3A regional meet next week in Powell.
Mountain View competed at the big Davis Invitational Track meet last Saturday in Kaysville, Utah. Once again, individual members of both teams did well in different events. Some on both teams also took their spots on the podium even though they were up against a huge slate of athletes.
