CASPER — LHS Lady Eagle Brice Hansen joined an elite group Thursday, Jan. 13, in the team’s game against the Kemmerer Rangers, by surpassing the 1000-point milestone in her high school basketball career.
The Lady Eagles hosted the Lady Rangers in the Eagle Lair.
Hansen is a senior at Lyman who is a power on the team and has helped the team post a 10-1 record so far this season when they finished their game against the Kemmerer Lady Rangers. The Lady Eagles took the conference win over the Lady Rangers with a 38-point spread, 62-24.
Hansen averages 13.9 points per game and shoots 52 percent from the field. She adds 6.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game and also shoots 37 percent from 3-point range.
After Brice Hansen earned her mark of 1,000 last week, LHS head coach and Hansen’s father, Jason Hansen, said last Friday afternoon, “It is a great accomplishment by her. She has put in a lot of work and for something like this to happen I’m proud as a coach and parent.
“I’ve coached 20 years, and she is the third player I’ve coached to reach this milestone,” Hansen added.
