KEMMERER — The Lyman High School boys swimming team took third place at the West Regional swim meet at Kemmerer last Saturday, with a score of 177.5.
Their next shot on the docket is state Feb. 16-17, at Laramie. Regionals, for the most part, for the LHS Eagles was a meet of fine tuning and shaving times as most of the swimmers have been prequalified for state for most of the season.
Lander took first at the regional meet in Kemmerer with 298.5 points, and Powell in at second with 238 points. Host team, Kemmerer, garnered 168 points for fourth. Sublette Coiunty Swimming and diving was fifth with 165 points. The meet was rounded out with Riverton in sixth with 148 points.
