A public hearing will be held in the Evanston-Uinta County Human Services Building, located at 350 City View Drive in Evanston, WY, on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm for the purpose of review of the proposed uses of Community Service Block Grant funding for the Fiscal Year 2025.  The meeting will be held in the main level conference room.  Public comment is both invited and encouraged.  The block grant proposal is available for public review at the Uinta County Human Services Office, 350 City View Drive, Suite #200 or by email by request. NOTICE OF HUMAN SERVICES

GRANT FUND AVAILABILITY

The Uinta County Human Services Board announces the availability of flow-through grant funds totaling approximately $231,000. Grant applications are being accepted from non-profit, human services organizations operating in Uinta County. Agencies submitting applications must have a Board of Directors, license to operate, established fiduciary accountability and 501-C3, Non-Profit status. Services qualifying for grant monies include, but are not limited to, elderly care; youth services; child care; mental health treatment; substance abuse; alcohol abuse; domestic violence intervention and indigent assistance. Deadline for submission of grant applications is 5:00 p.m., FRIDAY, May 15, 2024. Engineer/Project Manager

The Uinta County Library is seeking an engineer/project manager to oversee the Uinta County Library Health and Safety Renovation at 70 l Main Street, Evanston, WY.

This project will require a mandatory on-site inspection prior to proposal submission, pre-submittal meeting will be held at the above location on April 18th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Project specifications will be released at that time. Project manager will be responsible for compliance with CFR 200 Federal reporting; as well as any other Federal and State requirements, carry required insurance, and all city and state licenses.

Project Engineer applications must be submitted to the Uinta County Library by April 25, 2024 at 5 p.m. to be considered. Applications will be reviewed April 26, 2024 at the Uinta County Library conference room. Successful applicants will be notified for an interview which will be held April 29-30.

Uinta County Library reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted.

March 18, 2024

Held at Lyman Town Hall, Council Chambers

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hooton, present was Councilmember’s Bronson Berg, Jimmy Bramlett, Eric Quinney and Gregg Moretti.

Councilman Bramlett made a motion to approve the agenda as amended, second by Councilman Berg, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Moretti made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 4, 2024, Business Meeting and Work Session, second by Councilman Quinney, motion carried unanimously.

Ordinance No. 2024-01 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DAY OF THE REGULAR TOWN COUNCIL MEETINGS.  Councilman Berg made a motion to approve Ordinance No. 2024-01 on the first reading, second by Councilman Moretti, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Quinney made a motion to approve Mayor Hooton to sign the MOU for the impact assistance, second by Councilman Bramlett, motion carried unanimously.

Councilman Berg made a motion to approve the Beverage Catering Permit for Logan Sell at the Heritage Barn August 31, 2024, second by Councilman Moretti, motion carried unanimously.

Mayor Hooton turned the remainder of the meeting over to Mayor Pro-Tem Quinney.

Councilman Bramlett made a motion to approve the following Purchase Order for Hooton Tech: #2024-04  new computer in the amount of $8,580.00,  #2024-05 cameras at Heritage Barn for $5,935.00,  #2024-06 camera at cemetery  $9,860.00,  #2024-07 Heritage Park W. cameras in the amount of $17,285.00,  #2024-08 phone system up-grade at Town Hall $3,890.00, second by Councilman Berg, motion carried unanimously.

TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

March 19, 2024 at 7:00 PM

Mayor, Bryan Ayres led the Pledge of Allegiance.

The March 19, 2024 Mountain View Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Mayor Bryan Ayres. Those present were, council members, Jamy Ferrin, Jenny Harvey, Tori Carter and Kelly Bonner, Clerk Treasurer, Penny Robbins, Public Works Director, Jacob Porter, Police Officer Mark Erramouspe, and Attorney, Brandon Taylor via zoom.

Motion by Tori Carter, second by Jenny Harvey to approve the agenda, motion carried.

Motion by Kelly Bonner, second by Jenny Harvey to approve the March 5, 2024 meeting minutes; motion carried.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to approve final edits as discussed in the workshop on the MOU with the Sheriff’s department, motion carried.

Motion by Jamy Ferrin, second by Tori Carter to approve Mayor Bryan Ayres to sign and Town Clerk Penny Robbins to attest the MOU for Project West impact fees, motion carried.

Motion to Kelly Bonner, second by Tori Carter to approve purchase of Wyo Link radio for the police department in the amount of $16939.54, motion carried.

Representative Jon Conrad gave a video presentation of the legislative session along with the status of the bills at this point.
